thanks to the hard work of the volunteer transcribers, we've finished transcribing 6,000 (!) blinkies archived from old geocities websites!

we've used the transcripts to build Geoblinkies, a blinkie search engine that searches the full text & image descriptions of all 6,000 blinkies!! you can also visit the Geocities page that each blinkie was found on, and explore the old web from there :D

thank you so much to the transcribers and to GifCities & the Internet Archive (the source of all of these blinkies) for making projects like this possible!!!

Hermitcraft characters we headcanon as plural and why

Cub - The headcanon that he keeps getting possessed by eldritch entities but just keeps absorbing them into himself is funny, but it gets even more funny if they didn't get absorbed entirely so they just. Chill in his brain now.

Doc - Hiveminds are like. Plural-adjacent.

Grian - He isn't poultry man.

Joe - The Beetlejhost.

Mumbo - his mustache is a sentient alien creature that he's in a symbiotic relationship with. Y'know, like the trill from star trek!

Pearl - I just personally think it would be funny.

Rendog - Have you seen how many different characters he has? How many different versions of himself he plays? (Sidenote taking this opportunity to plug our plural!Ren fic that we will finish eventually I swear.)

Scar - See above but marginally less intense.

Xisuma - Again with the different versions. Probably more median than a lot of the above examples.

ZombieCleo - The United Conglomeration of Cleos.

Honorable mention goes to False because empires!False definitely has a lot of Plural Vibes, but she's not really good plural rep, and empires!False is not hermitcraft!False, so...

A line up of Sonic collectables are being sold in a new campaign by Brazilian fast-food restaurants Habib's and Ragazzo. Fans can collect figures of Sonic, Tails, Amy and Eggman.

Each figure can be purchased as part of a kids meal or separately for around 16 Brazilian reais, which is equivalent to three U.S. dollars.
